"Hau Kola" Hello! I hope all your New Year's resolutions are going as planned. If not, then there's no better time then now to start. Everything is within your reach if you only BELIEVE! That word believe is the key though. Believe means to have faith, confidence, or trust. The question is not that most do not believe in something but it's when that belief gets buffeted. Staying committed to one's belief when you are being pounded repeatedly by the storms and adversities of life is when you find out how committed you are! You will also find out what type of person you are or are not. Don't give me someone who has never went through a trial in life but give me the wisdom of those who have went through the fire and came out the other end victorious with the fulfillment of their dreams becoming a reality!
So commitment is key! Commitment means the trait of sincere and steadfast fixity of purpose; "a person of energy and commitment". It might be simple but that old wise saying of "Winners Never Quit" is true! The word steadfast answers it all with it's meaning; unwavering or determined in purpose. Winners become winners because they are unwavered in their mind, body and spirit with the purpose at hand. Never think that winners are lucky, yea sometimes but the majority, the 99% that set out on a purpose have it in their mind and spirit that no matter what we are pushing forward and nothing will stop us. It's always funny how people, how families react to you after you cross the finish line and now living in the Land of Goshen. Where were they when the storms and adversities of life was buffeting against your boat telling you that you not going to make it?
Be glad that you are buffeted, it means you are special and with each new experience you grow in knowledge and in wisdom that you may set at the table of kings and royalty. Whatever your New Year's resolution or better yet, the desires of your hearts, know this....the greater the calling, the greater the test, which in reality is preparation to be able to stand in the winner's circle.
