"Hau Kola" Hello! Well here we are, 2012 a New Year. From my family and I we wish you all a prosperous and joyful New Year in 2012. This is a time to lay the old aside and NOT go back to dead things for the new to come. Let the past be the past and put your hands to the plow and go forward. I thought of a photo to use for my new Blog and decided this was it for my family, myself and you. Just like this character drawing from a fan to me it's a time to dance and rejoice this year because this will be your year! You have to decide in your heart and spirit that nothing is going to stop you from fulfilling your dreams.
Each and everyone of us are unique and have our own calling. Around 8 billion people in the world and no one has your fingerprint...you are special and unique and only you can fulfill your purpose in this life. Does not matter what you have gone through...pain is only a sign of growth. The mature and wise person knows that and why they accept challenges, stand tall and become victorious. When you research history you will find that many of the great names we know today faced many challenges, many discouragements but leaders have a certain attitude and not moved by emotions.
The other day in a leadership class I heard a great fact. The lion in the jungle is not the biggest and also not the strongest but when the lion roars everything knows he is "King of The Jungle". What is the difference with the lion...Attitude. The way you walk, speak, think and carry yourself is attributes of the attitude that a leader should possess. The Lion is the King because of the way it portrays itself. True leaders act! Most of the world has made resolutions for this New Year and now it's time to put those things into action.
In closing, keep this to heart! Whatever the title is there is a warfare with the title. To receive the things that you so desire you must have a mind set that you will not let anything or anyone stop or deter you. In most cases, it will be those closest to you who will not support you. Maybe this is a year for new friends...true friends who will support you and encourage you in your dreams. Do not listen to the sideline voices. When you are in the game the sideline voices are only there to stop you from fulfilling your dream. As you go up the ladder there are always those who want to pull you down to their level. Just keep climbing and kick those things off that try to be a hindance. If you want to become a teacher you surround yourself with teachers, dreams of being a CEO hang out with other CEO's, want to become a Professional Wrestler hang out with other successful wrestlers. People always recognize you when you cross the finish line and have acquired the prize but they did not see the price you paid to acquire that prize. Whatever your desire go after it with all your will. Do not say years later I should have but only think I WILL. As you think so are you! So 2012 is a time to look at yourself as the winner you are and fulfill what's in your hearts! From my family and I we pray that the desires of your hearts come to pass in 2012! I'm looking forward myself to letting you all know what my family and I have been working on to give glory to God!
