Randy "Macho Man" Savage
All of us involved in this great business received tragic news last week when we lost one of our Icons and Legends of Professional Wrestling, Randy "Macho Man" Savage. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Poffo Family. Macho Man not only represented an era that is historic in the hearts of the fans but Macho Man was a major force in the overall success of pro wrestling. I spent a lot of time with Randy on the road in the nineties of course and it was a pleasure and an honor to learn from one of the greats that had a kind heart. You will sadly be missed my friend but your memory and the legend you created will live on forever! "Ooooohhhh Yeah!"

A very successful tour that has caught the attention of many world wide is the CWI Brawl At The Bush 2 with the man himself the Legendary Hulk Hogan. This event took place in Brantford, Ontario, Canada at the Brantford Civic Center on May 14th, 2011. The Civic Center had not held an wrestling event in that building for over 20 years, originally WWF/WWE ran that building regularly with LIVE Events and TV Tapings. The card highlighted many WWE Legends and Hall of Famers. Present on the tour was Kevin Nash, Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner, X Pac, The Nasty Boys, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, Bushwacker Luke, Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase & Virgil, along with myself and many other Superstars from the US and Canada.

Hulk Hogan & Tatanka
CWI's objective is to bring back the Old School Era of the 80's and 90's and this card was packed with Superstars from the Old School Era. Even with the great success of WWE today the Old School Era lives strong in the hearts of pro wrestling fans world wide. Wrestlers that were unique with characters, story lines that lasted, an honor and a respect for the business, along with everyone truly being part of one big family. Prior to this event The City of Brantford was in great expectation along with many fans in the surrounding areas. The President of CWI Nick Nitro Wyman and myself met the Mayor Chris Friel along with his staff who was thankful and supportive of the event that we brought into their City not only for business but also an historic event. For the first time ever Hulk Hogan worked for a third party company on an event, he always worked for WWF/WWE, WCW, and now TNA and CWI was the first!

There was plenty of press, TV cameras, and all of the above surrounding the events the days prior to and day of. On the day of the event it was awesome to see a line at the entrance of the Civic Center going all throughout the parking lot hours prior to show time. After another press conference in the building we all made appearances at our designated booths in the arena up to show time. It was a constant flow of people coming in and by show time the building was full with approximately 4,000 fans. CWI did not hold back, light cage above the ring with designated light shows for each entrance with the entrance at the curtain having additional entrance lights. What an atmosphere to wrestle in! I must say that the wrestlers along with the fans all enjoyed this special moment and night. Of course as usual when Hogan's entrance music hit...the building exploded! This night proved that "Old School" is missed , wanted and can even draw without a Major TV Network. Stay tuned for exciting news of our East Coast Canada Tour along with some US dates with CWI's US Syndicate.

As always, "Pilamia Yelo" Thanks
and
God Bless you!
